Never before has CMP had a place to call our own. With your help, we will.
Celebrate! Maya Project
Capital Campaign
We’re raising $600,000 through 2025 to renovate a 99-year-old home in the Little Rock Central High School district to provide a learning and training environment for creative programming and fostering community connections. We’re doing it all in the spirit of Maya Angelou, and your support can make this possible.
Who we are
Celebrate! Maya Project
The Celebrate! Maya Project promotes the life, contributions, and history of Dr. Maya Angelou through our work with children and communities of Arkansas. We seek ways to educate, advocate, and promote literacy and humanities by teaching the history of literary icon, Maya Angelou. We seek partnerships with Arkansas schools, communities, and nonprofit organizations to help bring this legend to life.
